By accessing, browsing, or making a booking via www.bubala.co.uk (the “Site”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Introduction & Company Details

This Site is operated by Bubala (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our Site and any reservations, gift voucher purchases, or interactions with our London venues:

2. Use of Website & Intellectual Property

2.1. All content on this Site—including text, graphics, logos, menu items, images, brand assets, and software—is the property of Bubala and protected by UK and international copyright laws.

2.2. You are granted a limited license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without prior written permission from Bubala.

3. Table Reservations & Dining Policy

3.1. Booking System: Table reservations made online are processed through our third-party reservation partner (e.g., SevenRooms/Resy). By submitting a reservation request, you agree to comply with both their terms and our in-house policies.

3.2. Confirmation: A reservation is only confirmed once you receive an automated booking confirmation via email or SMS.

3.3. Card Guarantee: Credit or debit card details are required to secure your reservation. No funds will be charged at the time of booking unless explicitly stated (e.g., special ticketed events or large group deposits).

3.4. Cancellation & No-Show Policy:

Cancellations or changes to party size must be made at least 24 hours prior to your reservation time.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking, or failure to show up (“no-show”), will incur a fee of £25 per person charged to the card provided.

3.5. Seating Duration: Due to capacity limits, tables are allocated for fixed dining times (typically 1 hour 45 minutes for smaller tables, up to 2 hours for larger groups). We kindly ask that you respect your table return time.

3.6. Late Arrivals: We hold reserved tables for up to 15 minutes past the scheduled booking time. If you are running late, please contact the restaurant directly. Beyond 15 minutes, we reserve the right to release your table to waiting guests.

4. Dietary Requirements, Menus & Service Charge

4.1. Allergens & Dietary Options: Bubala serves a vegetarian menu with extensive vegan and gluten-friendly dishes. However, food is prepared in kitchens where allergens (including nuts, sesame, gluten, dairy, and celery) are handled. While we take every reasonable precaution, we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment.

4.2. Guests with severe allergies or dietary restrictions must inform us in advance during the booking process and inform server staff upon arrival.

4.3. Menu & Pricing Changes: All menus, seasonal dishes, and prices shown on the Site are subject to change based on ingredient availability and seasonality.

4.4. Service Charge: An optional/discretionary service charge of 12.5% is added to all final restaurant bills. This is distributed directly to our kitchen and front-of-house staff.

5. Gift Vouchers & Online Merchandise

5.1. Digital or physical gift vouchers purchased via our Site are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless stated otherwise.

5.2. Vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5.3. Any physical merchandise purchased via our website is governed by UK consumer protection regulations. Returns or exchange requests must be made within 14 days of delivery.

6. Data Protection & Privacy

We respect your personal privacy. Any personal information gathered through online bookings, mailing list subscriptions, or contact forms is handled in strict compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

7.1. While we endeavour to ensure that all information on this Site is accurate, we make no representations or warranties of any kind regarding its completeness or accuracy.
